Human Smoke: Choose Smoke and push and hold B + HP + HK + BL + R. At the beginning of the round you will see an explosion and after that Ninja Smoke will appear.

Hidden Arenas

Scislac Busirez (Ermac's Portal or The Lost World): Unlock all the three secret characters and each time you start a game you will first play on this arena instead of Scorpion's Lair, which will be the second one.

Play as Noob Saibot

This can only be enabled on WaveNet machines. Play against a human opponent. Select Kano then hold Back + LP + LK + HP + BL until the match begins.

"Frosty!"

Choose Sub-Zero (Classic or New). Wait until your opponent reaches danger. Freeze Him. Dan Forden pops out and says "Frosty!" instead of "Toasty!".

"Crispy!"

Right after you did the Pit fatality in Scorpion's Lair, hold HP on both sides of the Control Panel. You should see Dan Forden pops out and says "Crispy!". Hold Run on both sides and hear Shao Kahn say "Crispy!" Hold both to hear both!

Ermac Free Game

After you have defeated Shao Kahn, choose to fight Ermac, the second Shao Kahn's treasures. Win the first round, lose the second, and win the third. Do a Mercy. Hit him one more time. Do not finish him! Just let him fall on the ground after doing the Mercy, and that will bring you to the "Choose your Destiny" screen! A free game!
Note: Arcade Only.

Credit Trick

After beating the game, put in your tokens for a new game while the credits are going on. Press Start on both sides. That will bring you to the "Choose your Mode of Playing" screen. Press Start on both sides again. That will bring you to the Character Select Screen with a 2 player game! A free game!
Note: Arcade 1.0 and 1.1 Only.

Play On MK3 Arenas

Beat the game on any level (master, novice or champion etc.). Then choose to fight Ermac or Noob Saibot. Win the first round and on the second make it so you are with more energy than your enemy. Then use the mirror system (when cpu imitates your motions) to beat your opponent from time. After that you'll be transported to "Choose your Destiny" screen. Select any tower and play on a MK3 arenas.

Hidden Message At The End

At the end of the credits, the following message is displayed: KVOOONNMMIIGCS. In this message is the following text encrypted: MKIV KOMING SOON.

Timer Stop at UKK

You can stop the timer during the Ultimate Kombat Kode input screen by pressing the Guide button.
Note: XBox 360 only.

Secret Characters Online

This method is simple, but only usable for one match. Any Hidden Characters unlocked via this method are gone in the next match. You can repeat this code until you have unlocked all three Hidden Characters:

Pick any characters, then enter 640 - 468 at the versus screen. This will take you to the UKK screen. Exit to the XBox 360 Dashboard after you have unlocked your characters using the in-game menu and not the Guide Button.
Note: XBox 360 only.

Save Hiddens on Xbox 360

Start a single player game in Arcade Mode and go to the Character Select Screen. Your Hidden Characters should be unlocked. Now simply exit back to the game menu and go use your Hidden Characters on Xbox Live!
Note: XBox 360 only.

Shao Kahn's Lost Treasures

After you beat Shao Kahn or win in Tournament mode, you can open one of Shao Kahn's secret treasures. The number of the treasures depends on the difficulty level you have chosen:

Novice: 1-4 symbols
Warrior: 1-6 symbols
Master: 1-8 symbols
Double Master: all symbols

8 Lives in Galaxian Mini-Game

Note: a six-button controller is needed to activate this code.
Enable the Killer Kodes menu and select "Play Hidden Game". While the intro screen is running hold (X + A + Z + C). Hold this down until the game starts. You should know the code has worked if you hear a firing sound and see no laser fire on screen. You now have 8 lives.

Hurt me harder

Use the 2nd controller to play a 1-player game. When you lose, hold Down on both controllers and your opponent will always do a Fatality or a Brutality.

Shao Kahn's Lost Treasures

On the start screen tap C, Right, A, Z, Y, C, Y, Right, A, X. You should hear Shao Kahn laugh. Then at the menu cube press Up on Kombat and a blue question mark should appear.

Imagination

While Shao Kahn is laughing on the purple skull screen press Down, Up, Left, Left, A, Right, Down. It should change the opening quote from "There is no knowledge that is not power" to "Imagination is more important than knowledge".

Free Play

Enter this code at the title screen: Up, Up, F, F, B, B, D, D.

65,535 Kredits

Start a 1 player game. Let the computer defeat you through all 5 original kredits. Just after losing the second fight of the 5th match, push START on the second controller. This will take you to the play mode screen. Let Shao Kahn laugh 3 times at this screen and you will automatically be entered into the first option, Mortal Kombat. If you die in any subsequent match, you will notice that you have 65,535 kredits when the continue screen comes up.
