Mortal Kombat II News and Updates
New Insane MK2 Combo Video
by ded on Sep 16, 2006 :: 11Exclusive release from UltimateMK.com
Over a year of collective effort, gathering combos, putting it on the back burner, refining combos, etc. It is finally here. For the past week Shock have been putting together what hopefully MKII fans will consider as the "be all end all" of MKII combo videos. Most of the comboing was done by ded_ umk(pyskosonik from MKO), with featured combos from Shock, Konqrr, ChaiN, and DreemerNJ. All combos were performed on MKII ver. 3.1 Arcade, and no codes were used other than infinite health and no time limit.
The video includes over 70 combos, a significant portion of which are 100%s.

This time they fixed the famous Smoke glitch and you are finally able to fight Smoke by pressing D + Start when the face of Dan Forden appears in the bottom right corner on the Portal Arena. Click here to download the patch.The following patch has been developed to enable the Dan Forden "Toasty!" - Smoke Fight encounter in Mortal Kombat 2, on the Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition for the PC.
Download the Patch to your PC and then double click the patch file (Mat2mkPatch.exe). The patch will make the updates to your installed game that will enable both the Smoke Fight Easter Egg, as well as the random select feature from the character select screen.
The opportunity to fight with Smoke was a hidden Easter Egg in the original arcade release. It was also largely dependent on luck, timing, and some skill. We are glad to be able to bring this hidden content to the PC gamers. Thank you all for your comments, patience, and continued interest in our Mortal Kombat games.
Now get out there and FINISH HIM!
