Only a few days away from the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event, which will actually be a pair of events that are occuring at London and L.A on January 17th. However, thanks for some info for the pro MK player and commentator Mitsuowens, it turns out that there is acutally going to be a third rveal event, taking place in Russia on January 18th, one day after the first 2 events.

It should be noted that while the first two events are bring advertised by Microsoft and the MK11 is going to be featured in these events on the Xbox One, the Russia event is being advertised by Sony and is going to feature MK11 on the PlayStation 4. So for those who were feared about the Microsoft/Xbox One adverisment, no need to worry any more.

So it seems that the entire weekend is pretty much going to be full of Mortal Kombat 11 news. One can only imagine what each event is going to reveal.

After we saw the Mortal Kombat 11 renders of Shao Kahn and Raiden, we now received the render for the poster boy yellow palette swap ninja of the MK series, Scorpion, courtesy of the official Mortal Kombat Twitter page. Take a look:
An interesting thought. While in the renders for both Shao Kahn and Raiden you could clearly see their weapons of choice (Shao Kahn's Wrath Hammer and Raiden's Bo Staff), in Scorpion's render you can clearly see both his Mugai Ryu Sword and his iconic Kunai Spear. This might indicate that it will be possible to customize Scorpion's Spear in addition to his Sword, just like it seems it will be possible to do the same for Raiden and Shao Kahn's weapons. Less than a week and we will find out.

Ed Boon has Tweeted this image of a small lizard in what appears to be a cave of sorts, along with the question "Reptile konfirmed?".
Could this mean that Reptile, the green palette swap Saurian Ninja, will appear in Mortal Kombat 11? Or maybe Reptile will return along with either one of the other two secret Saurian ninjas, Khameleon and Chameleon, or even both?

Also, judging by the form of this lizard, could this mean that we will see Reptile once again in his fully fledged lizard form, the way he appeared in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance? Considering that MK11 is set to feature some sort of a customization mode along with skins according to the information we have so far, this might be indeed one option that players will be able to choose for Reptile. We will have to wait and see.

Author's opinion: As Reptile being my all time favorite character from Mortal Kombat and all Fighting Games, I really hope this is true. I can't wait for the community reveal event next week!

January 17th can't come soon enough, as the Mortal Kombat 11 community reveal event is set to take place on that date, and NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros do make sure to make it as special as possible. YouTuber Brian Tong has shown on his Twitter page the invitation he received for the event in this Tweet. He also posted a second Tweet showing the invitation in a video form.

As we can see, this invitation came in the form of a black envelope that was sealed in the back with a wax MK logo. The letter itself gave details about the event and also came with a Mortal Kombat coin. What appears to be the "head" side of the coin is the MK dragon logo, while on the other side, there MK11 unique logo.

Netherrealm Studios has just released the official Mortal Kombat 11 cover art. It features Scorpion along with the title and iconic Dragon Logo on a Yellow background. An unfinished version of this cover was leaked some time ago:
Author's opinion: This cover is indeed pretty unconventional for a MK game, but it's eye-catching for sure. Some of the previous MK games also had cover arts that were brighter. It looks very good.
