Klassic Kano Challenge For Mortal Kombat X Mobile
by Gambid on Jul 16, 2016 :: 0The next challenge for Mortal Kombat X Mobile has arrived and its a klassic one. From July 15th, 2016 until August 3rd, 2016 you will have the chance to obtain and promote to gold Klassic Kano:
Klassic Kano has the passive ability of 25% chance of stunning the opponent if they block any of his attacks.
To beat this challenge you will need at least 3 Gold Martial Artists characters and Kitana.

Ed Boon Says Nope To Info About New MK Movie With Lambert

It all began when original Raiden actor Christopher Lambert revealed in an interview that a new Mortal Kombat Movie is in development and he was contacted to reprise his role as the god of thunder.

The next information comes from Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, who left a single word comment on the published by Loaded interview: NOPE
Ed Boon doesn't clarify what exactly is not correct, so fans are left guessing. It might be Christopher Lambert's involvement, the time travel aspect, the entire status of the movie or something else.

Ed Boon pulls up the Twitter polls yet again
by Roy Arkon on Jul 14, 2016 :: 0Ed Boon has started yet another pair of Mortal Kombat XL related polls, this time talking about which characters we want to see get buffed in terms of the competitive aspect in the game. One poll is for default cast characters, and another one for DLC characters.
In the default characters poll, the characters are Sub-Zero, Kitana, Kung Lao and Kenshi, and in the DLC characters poll, the characters of choice are Goro, Bo' Rai Cho, Tremor, and the guest character Jason Voorhees.
Considering that, once again, we are more likely gonna get a big announcement at EVO 2016 this weekend, those polls might be related to such news in some capacity.

Ed Boon Says No To MK VS. DCU 2, Update On The New MK Movie
by Roy Arkon on Jul 14, 2016 :: 0In a recent interview with EPNdotTV, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon discussed mainly Injustice 2, but he also briefly talked about Mortal Kombat.
First, he said that there are no plans for a squeal to Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe, as NetherRealm Studios like to work on each universe (MK and DC) separately.
Boon also talked about a possible new Mortal Kombat movie. He said that there are constant discussions, and that he would be very surprised if a new movie doesn't get made.
