Who will take home the title? Tune in to the one-hour primetime special finale of Mortal Kombat X: Machinima’s Chasing the Cup this Monday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST on The CW Network.
Mortal Kombat X: Machinima’s Chasing the Cup follows five of the world’s top-ranked Mortal Kombat X players, vying to achieve their dream of being crowned the best in the world at the ESL Mortal Kombat X Pro League Finals. Viewers can watch previous episodes of Mortal Kombat X: Machinima’s Chasing the Cup on CW Seed.

Mortal Kombat XL, the definitive experience of the award-winning Mortal Kombat X videogame, will launch in North America on March 1, beckoning into the ring new playable characters including the Xenomorph from Alien and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, as well as series legends Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Raiden, and is the complete package of Mortal Kombat content.

Yesterday, Netherrealm Studios showcased the first of the two guest characters from the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2, the horror movie icon, Leatherface. The new character is heavy hitter, slow but with long range attacks with his iconic chainsaw.

His has 3 variations:

- Killer (focusing on a new stance that gives him several options)
- Butcher (a close range rushdown variation with hammer attacks)
- Pretty Lady (a zoning variation with chainsaw projectiles).

The Kombat Kast also features some of Leatherface's Fatalities and Brutalities, Intros and winning poses. Check out the Kombat Kast if you haven't watched it yet:

On this very Thursday, 02.11.2016, Netherrealm Studios are to air a new Kombat Kast, entitled KOMBAT KAST: MASSACRE, which one could assume will be focusing on one of the Kombat Pack 2 characters, the horror movie icon, Leatherface. After Triborg was shown at the ESL finals, now it's time for the iconic horror character to be showcased.

During the latest episode of Machinima's series Chasing the Cup on the CW seed, two images for both Xenomorph and Leatherface from Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 have been shown, showcasing variations for both characters. Xenomorph has a variation called "Konjurer" while Leatherface has a variation called "Killer". It is still now known what those variations are focused on. Take a look at the two images:
