Introduction
Stage Fatalities have been around since the original Mortal Kombat 1 and have stayed an integral part of the franchise over the years. In this guide we will go over everything you need to know about Stage Fatalities in Mortal Kombat X.How and Where Can Stage Fatalities be Performed?
Stage Fatalities are always executed after the opponent has been defeated. As the name states however these Fatalities are bound to a specific stage, so you cannot execute them everywhere and they are always unique to that stage. Here is a list of the stages that have Stage Fatalities:- The Pit
- The Kove
- Refugee Camp
At What Distance Should My Fighter Be?
Stage Fatalities are always executed at close range. You should be right next to your opponent. However Mortal Kombat X is the first Mortal Kombat game to introduce additional positioning conditions.Stage Fatalities will always work in the middle of the arena, no matter whether your opponent is facing the center or the corner. The also always work if your opponent has pushed you into the corner so that your back is hitting the wall. Stage Fatalities will stop working as you start pushing your opponent into the corner, with him facing the center of the arena. The never work with your opponents back hitting the corner and depending on the arena require different distance from the corner to work. With this in mind, if you have pushed your opponent into the corner of the arena or close to it, just jump over him and then execute the move.
What Are the Command Inputs For Stage Fatalities?
In addition to the arena bound nature of the Stage Fatality each fighter has their own button combination for the move. You can see it in the game's moves list if it is unlocked. You can also check each character guide we have for the combination. To make things simpler for you however, here is a short list with just the Stage Fatalities of each fighter.
