MKX at PAX: Kano's Fatality, Johnny Cage and the Boots

Shortly after GamesCon, Mortal Kombat X made an appearance at PAX Prime. On the event, GameSpot was able to interview Senior Producer Adam Urbano:
Next to Kano's Fatality the most interesting part of the interview is when Danny O'Dwyer asks the question whether you can fight Cassie as Johnny Cage. To this question Adam Urbano simply answers "Yeah. You can."

Without an actual announcement, no one can really say whether Johnny Cage is going to be in Mortal Kombat X or not. The line might have been meant to mislead people, or may be not. Tell us what you think?

Just in time for PAX, Ed Boon himself was also on top of his game and released a teaser image of 6 boots, which belong to characters from Mortal Kombat X, some of which may be unannounced:
