Mortal Kombat is no stranger to cameo appearances (no pun intended) on various other franchises across all types of media. This includes the DC Universe, with which
MK had multiple crossovers with in the past, most famously,
Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe in 2008.
Now there's another one. On the latest episode of the new DC animated series, Creature Commandos, we see one scene where Clayface, a DC villain, playing
Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) on his TV in the living room with his Xbox Series console.
This isn't the last time we see an
MK game being played in DC media, as
Mortal Kombat X was seen being played in the first Shazam! movie. With both
MK and DC being properties both owned by
WB Games, it's only a matter of time before we see another crossover between the two.
