Is Kung Jin Coming To Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) As A Kameo?

As we all know, Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) still have two more characters for Kombat Pack 2, those being Conan the Barbarian and T-1000. However, one can only wander what is cming next for the game, and what characters might join the both the kameo and the main roster. Well, it appears we might have a glimpse of what's to come.

Sergio Nicolas Benitez, who is a character artist at Collider Craftworks and has worked on Mortal Kombat 1 (2023), has gone to ArtStation to share some images of the work he has done, including some that show a 3D model of Kung Jin. According to the description, Kung Jin is (or may be was, we do not know) a Kameo fighter in the game.

It makes sense that the archer from Mortal Kombat X will be playable in some capacity, as he did appear in the base story of Mortal Kombat 1 (2023), in the last chapter along with the rest of that Kombat Kids, where we can also see Takeda, who did make it to game as the final character of Kombat Pack 1. So is this a sign that we will get Kung Jin as a Kameo? Only time will tell.
