Netherrealm Studios Kommunity Manager Tyler Lansdown sat down with Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon for a brief chat discussing the announcement of Mortal Kombat 1 (2023). Among other things they touched upon the following subjects:

• Why is the name of the game Mortal Kombat 1
• Kombat Kast will return
• What can we expect moving forward
• The Kollector's Edition of the game

Awesome to see Ed Boon and Tyler Lansdown once again in the Kombat Kast room. Can't wait for the Kombat Kast to return. Also the statue looks even more impressive now that I saw the vid.
