We and a lot of other forums online are currently seeing an increase of SPAM messages in our forums and encourage everyone to be extra cautious. The spammers are able to hack into an existing (mostly older and/or dead) accounts and post from there. Current assumption is that the accounts use a password identical or similar to the username. Please check your account and change your password if you have to. According to the current research on the topic, there is no security flaw in the forums software.

The owners of all breached accounts have already been informed and EMail reactivation has been activated for these accounts to prevent further unauthorized access.
In cases in which the accounts appear to be old and never used, the accounts were removed.
