MaterialInstanceConstant. I'm not a big Unreal expert, but this thing is somehow in charge of textures & their characteristics. Usually the invisibility is on Damage textures, Accessory damage (AccDMG) and just Accessory. So probably your won't even need to do any swapping if the hair/dreds are on Accessory texture, just try to paint them in black on the Alpha channel.
I know what "MIC" means, I just asked because I misunderstood the question, and Regarding the alpha, I already tried and it didn't work, Besides, In my opinion these skins would look super strange without their "Hair"
