Compressed files, when changing texture and saving, gives error in appearance. I tried to change the reptile's skin and put the scorpion's human skin, but it doesn't work. Tried with the fix and without making the fix.

Use INTEL DDS PLUGIN for gimp/photoshop and export using:
Color + Alpha
BC7 Linear with Fine Compression

great job.... please make this Skin modding much more freely skin edits like MKXL skin injections.
so that we can do MK1 or MK3 skins of Kharacters.

Tried it, but nothing changed. Unless the header also gets messed up with Compressed files as well? I didn't get an error like Nobrega did, there's just no change showing in the game.

When i launched mk11 with SpecialK for the first time (I dont know if I touched something that i shouldnt) all skins had black on some parts of the costume. I thought thats normal and made my first modified scorpion texture and it was completely black except his skin. So any idea on how to fix it?

when saving the file observe the photoshop settings:

and correct the header :

"It needs fixing. Again, this is a problem which I've only noticed when exporting uncompressed dds textures, so mainly for color palettes. To fix this, open the original texture which you've just dumped in HxD, press ctrl+g, go to offset 94 and copy everything before that. Next, go back to your newly exported texture, go to offset 80 and replace everything before that with the header you've just copied. That's it, your texture should now be fixed. I will make a tool that automatically does this if it's needed."

It didn't work for me either. But the thiny is focused on the unlocker, so I asked again not to interfere. I'm trying to find tutorials on the internet.
But after the unlocker comes out it will be easier for the thiny to go back to texture mods.
But just by changing the color palette, I'm able to do a lot of things

Ok so I got photoshop and the plugin, but now im stuck tryng to find the tab you screenshoted..

edit: All i had to do i press save and then it opens it smh

Is it possible to inject textures with multiple dimensions? I tried removing the robo arms from Sindel and here is what i got. On the left is texture i try to inject and on the right the original.

Edit: I saved it as bc7 fast srgb and it worked. Didnt have to do the hex stuff
