The long awaited version 0.7 of the progessive PS2 emulator, PCSX2 has finally been released. The emulator now has a lot of new features and a lot of bugs have been fixed. There is also a progress by the Mortal Kombat games for this console. Unfortunatelly Mortal Kombat: Deadlly Alliance still freezes on the loading screen. Mortal Kombat: Deception on the other hand reaches the intro, the main menu, the select character screen and the loading screen after that. The game loads untill 100% and then the emulation stops. This is a huge progress for this emulator. Hope we will hear something new from it's team very soon. Below are a few screenshots from the emulation of Mortal Kombat: Deception:

Visit the official homepage of PCSX2.

Special thanks to Carnage2004x for this news and the screenshots.

Hey Gambid I don't think people want to play a emulated version when they already have the original game.
No offence but I'm just telling you.

Look I don't care if people are interested in emulation news or not. This site will continue informing his visitors about emulation of different platforms that has Mortal Kombat games. I am sure that if MAME begin to emulate Zeus and run the arcade version of Mortal Kombat 4 a lot of the old Mortal Kombat fans will be happy to learn about that as soon as possible. About all the others, well they can just skip the news.

Some people may not have Xbox, PS2 or Gamecube so they can't play it without emulation.
