How to update old mod to NCM?

Hey, I'm very new to modding and was wondering how people are updating older replacement mods to NCM? Thanks!

Use this tutorial,but inverse case 2 with case 3.

Also, some of the NCM mods require you changing some lines from MaleTall to Male in a file extracted from coalesced. Do you know how to do that?
