Ed Boon's teasing with the boots... again

Ed Boon went to Twitter and pulled an old trick that he thought would still work. And it seems like he was right. Boon posted a picture of a boot that belong to a character. It's not clear if it's a new character for MKXL in KP3 or a DC character for Injustice 2, but if it was clear, than it wouldn't be fun, right?

PERSONAL OPINION: Even if Injustice 2 comes out, I really don't see MKX not getting anymore support. There is no way NRS would make some drastic changes to the game up to the point of reworking the structure of the netcode for the game in addition to character balance, bug fixes and gameplay changes as well as adding more content, and just stop there. If anything, it could be that NRS are working on multiple projects at once. Maybe they're even working on a new Shaolin Monks-style game as well? We should wait and see.
