forget that photoshop idea. i just tested with my char but both the alt costumes showed the same damage color. if the color shows properly in game then there´s no need in gettin worried about it. but i´m still wondering how you managed to get the damage colors.. the damaged parts in my char show as white.. i still can´t figure out what to do

I insisted a bit more of that model and get a better result, although not 100% but I already consider playable.

Minor bugs in masks and hands.

I will post for download as alpha version this afternoon, depending on your opinion I will have the beta and will release for download.

PS.: the bug in the eye do not know if will be possible resolve

man your mod is great and you don´t need any permission of mine.. is an excellent mod to begin so can post it if you want. btw, if it´s not too much, could you make a tutorial about how to fix the brightness issue? that´s a great discovery of yours.. neither aman knew the solution.. it´d be so helpful for all of us if you do :). i´ll wait for it what do you say?

man I'm not asking your permission, but your help to test and report errors / bugs...
depending on what you tell me I've disposal downloading or make some adjustments before, I also have not much time to work it out, and since you were prepared to help.

as the tutorial to correct the brightness is not my discovery I'm sure I've ever read about somewhere here in the forum.

i never noticed about it.. that´s why i said it was your discovery but good thing you took not the credits for it then.

ok right now i have no time to test (i´m trying to divide my time to accomplish some thing i left pending but i´ll tell you tomorrow what i think of it (i´ll have some free time to do anything then).. for now i can say it was working fine by the time i had to test (i told you the minor bugs already). what do you think?

P.S: i´m just a player so i can tell you what i see in game related to the mesh no more than that since i don´t have your knowledge to report higher things. i´ll be reporting you about crashes or anything related to the skin performance in game

the costume works fine in practice mode but crashes the game at ladder. You had several errors in the .ini file but i already correct them. Nevertheless it´s still crashing which makes me think you did not renamed it correctly. Did you use the generic renamer tool or you did it through a hexeditor? If you did it manually using an editor then that could be the problem.

BTW is this char file for steam?

Please show me the errors and if possible send me the corrected .ini file.
I use the generic renamer tool but maybe i don't use correctly.
What is "BTW"?

The only error is that the game crashes at the vs screen (when the game loads the fight).

this is what you should have done
renamer use.png
(sometimes a runtime error appears and the renamer tool closes by it self. So you need to open it again and replace the .xxx file before renaming it again..)

.. and BTW means "by the way". And i need to know what version of the game you have...

I have not seen a significant change in the .ini file

My renamer tool does not have the option "Force Full Hash Check", where i download this version?

My MKKE is Version 1.05, I want to upgrade to 1.7 but don't know how to use mods in version 1.7 :/

you may have the renamer 3.1 then. I always use this one because in some way is better for me though is older. You´d better try it..

the version is ok for me then

the changes are pretty significant when you play in ladder mode if you do not want your game to crash.. check your original file

i also would like you to post a little tut about how you fixed the brightness issue. It will be helpful to have it here, and also it will "complete" in some way aman´s work..

Note: in v1.07 you can install mods as always. If you want to get some mods from this web make sure they work in v1.07 (usually the modder specifies the version which the mod will work with).

i think i saw that model in DeviantArt´s website. K0BR4 got it not me. There are a lot of mk models there

Here's the progress I have had so far

Remembering that this work is for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Reptile, Smoke and Noob.

Will not support the damaged appearance (as in my mod MK2).

This is not yet the end result, but I think I'm close to a beta.

Make his color lighter, maybe use the one in the screenshot as 2P.
And It's impressive you got rid of the shiny effect!
