MKR (Open-World MK RPG game)
This is the official topic for my upcoming fan-made game, MKR. It will be an episodIC Open-World RPG/Fighting Game. Although the trailer hasn't been released yet, some information on the game will be present.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Mortal Kombat franchise, Ed Boon does.

---Story---
-The story of the first episode takes place right before the end of MKM Season 2, and right before the first Match in the 10th Tournament.
-The R in MKR will represent the 3 story Arcs of the Game; Revelation, Redemption, and Resurrection.
-The first episode won't feature the new Kombatant that will be the sole protagonist of the game. However, the protagonist will be mentioned and silhouetted.
-The Shirai Ryu play the hugest role in the game, respectively.
---Gameplay---
-Combat will use the RP, LP, RK, LK fighting scheme used in MK9, but more simplified.
-Fatalities are the only finishers planned.
-X-Ray moves will be present.
-Stage Fatalities are possible.
-Every character has 3 special moves.
-Team Battles are present, but with a few tweaks.
-Each Character will have 2 Fatalities.
-The enemies that you face during the Konquest Mode won't be as hard as the enemies you face in MKM: Sub-Zero.
-Most of the Kombatants you face in Konquest Mode are unplayable in Vs Mode and Vice Versa.
-At the same time, some of them will appear as a normal grunt enemy, but will be able to use their special attacks (thought, their health will still be low).
-Decision making will be a key part of the game. Depending on who you kill and who you leave alive, you story will be different.
-Mass Effect-Style choice transfer is impossible, but you will get a code at the end of each Episode that is exclusive to the choices you made.

-There will be 6 playable characters in Vs Mode, 3 playable in Konquest Mode, and a few support characters.
-Some characters won't look or act the same way they did in Ed Boon's games, but they won't stray away too far.
-All characters are unique.*None*of them will have the same exact moveset.
-All graphics will be 2d. They won't be digital actors.

No, it's download only. So you can take the game everywhere you go once you download it.

ugh, then I won't be able to play it because I don't have a phone and my sister's laptop (the only way to get online) is bugging so anything could make it slow. Oh well, I would like to see some footage(youtube) once it's finished

You can play online games on your phone? How do you do that? I though you can't use flash player on the IPhone.

Ha, it's alright. Anyways, even if you are unable to play it when it comes out, you won't miss out on the story. A few months after I release the game, I plan on making it into a comic book for those who are unable to play it.

I've updated the front page with new and updated content as well as Kombatants and Stages that were confirmed so far. And yes, Hydro will be present in the game.
