recently someone just sold me a ps1 and a dreamcast for $40 so i burnt MK gold for the dreamcast it works perfectly excepts that on any disk the dreamcast is really noisy when the disk is reading all of my old consoles i collect are carts so idk if this is normal... also when i start up the dreamcast it makes a really loud long beep sound idk if that is normal ether... hopefully people know more about the dreamcast then me...

Don't really know, because I don't own a DreamCast. But what you baught is more than a 10 years old device. A little noise is the least you could expect. Have fun with it, its an amazing console.

I'm enjoying it but i like mk 1,2 and 3 better on the genesis I'm not a fan of 3D fighters i prefer the 2D... i wish they kept the kombos the same i play mk 3 on the genesis then mk9 on the ps3 and xbox and i get screwed up :/

Same... I collect consoles so I have alot lol but my ps3 is always having PSN troubles when my xbox connects perfectly it's getting annoying  _________________

I have owned a dreamcast and it is definitely not a loud console.... I'm guessing it's because of how old it is? why don't you just take it to a repair shop and get it tuned up
