Possibility of Special Tag-Team Moves and Playable Shao Kahn

Inside Mortal Kombat, one of our Affiliates, reported yesterday that X360, an Italian gaming magazine has news about the possibility of Special Tag Team moves when you team up certain characters. As teams Ed Boon mentions in the interview Raiden and Shao Kahn, Sub-Zero and Scorpion, Sonya and Jax. Was this just an example of what a team could be or is this an indication of Shao Kahn being playable in next Mortal Kombat. From the news:

"For me it will be awesome if everybody will find that Scorpion and Sub-Zero worked together in past, just like Jax and Sonya did." said Ed Boon about that possibility to create some Tag Team moves "These are the classic couples that maybe hardcore fans will have fun to discover. We will put inside some special moves when Raiden will be with Shao Kahn or Liu Kang... these are the things we would like players will discover during the game"

That'd be kinda cool. I love that kinda stuff. Everything from special intros between rivals to special taunts... please add everything you like, netherrealm studios

Something goin on between Kano and Sonya would be cool too. Mileena and Kitana... possibilities are endless

All this, especially the Shao Kahn story needs to be confmed but I am pretty optimistique.

What are you talking about? This news has nothing to do with Kabal.

the tag move things sound cool, and my cousin is on vacation in australia so he cant get mk9.
and kabal was released and im wondering who he could go with... maybe kano.
