Update 10.13.2010:The official Mortal Kombat (2011) website has been launched. Its functionality is still limited but you can now have a taste of things to come.

We have also updated our Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) section and added new renders, arenas and all previously missing from the section screenshots.

In a press release Netherrealm Studios announced the official start of the new Mortal Kombat (2011) website. It was also announced that server issues are slowing the launch, but we were informed that these will be resolved shortly. From the press release:

Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are unleashing an all-new website for the highly-anticipated video game Mortal Kombat releasing in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A first for the franchise, www.themortalkombat.com will showcase six legendary characters including Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Mileena giving fans an unprecedented look into their unique history and backgrounds. The site will also feature a full arsenal of kommunity features including: MKasts, discussion boards and Kombat Chat. The site will be updated every Monday in conjunction with Mortal Mondays.

Looks like its incomplete. Just about 5 character bios so far and... the original Sub-zero making its redebut again. Has anyone seen or know where Tobias is lately?

It's a start. Don't forget that there were server issues that delayed the launch.

No information on John Tobias. As far as know, he works for different companies now.

Once again, it seems that this game will be not adapted on computers...

For the moment yes.

However if marketing decides, the game can be easily ported, since it uses the Unreal 3 Engine, which is available for both Next Get Consoles and PCs.
