Mortal Kombat 8 For PC?

OK, before you start screaming happily, read the entire news please.

Currently Mortal Kombat 8 is announced as Next Generation MK game for the next generation of consoles. These are PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and Wii. Due to hardware limitations we exclude Nintendo Wii. It is unclear if the Wii is capable of handling the Unreal Engine 3.

Right here is actually where this news comes from. According to the official Unreal Technology website, Mortal Kombat 8 is being developed for PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and PC. It will be nice to see the Return of Mortal Kombat to the PC. Any official announcement from Midway is still missing.

So please keep in mind that mistakes on Unreal Technology website are possible.

Earlier today I contacted Midway's official Support and asked them to confirm the information:
