Secret Characters In Mksm?

I've seen a lot of websites say there are hidden unlockable, playable characters in Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. Can anyone confirm this, tell us who they are and/or maybe tell us how to unlock them?

You can unlock Scorpian and Sub-zero for Singleplayer and Ko-op.

Scorpian- Beat the game with Liu Kang
Sub-zero - Beat the game with Kung Lao

Thank you for that information but, I already have unlocked all the vs and single characters. My question was, is there any other extra secret characters?

I have been informed in videos of you tube on other forums that you can pla with goro shang tsung kintaro and kitana in Story or koop mode but i
haven´t found a mode to use them
