New Demo Game

Post by Gambid »

Our forum member Masos sent us a demo version of a game called Mortal Kombat: The Dark Tournament. This game is still in development. The demo version features 2 characters, one playable (Sub-Zero) and one unplayable (Rahan - made up character). The game is created with Smart Engine, written in Turbo Pascal 7.0. The author (Masos) needs ideas and suggestions, so if you have some go to our forum and share them.

Here are two screenshots from the game:

This version is compatible with all Windows OS.

Hm I am very surprised that the game is working with Windows 9x...

When you start the game you should see a message that requires you to enter on how many MHz-s it is working. There you should enter for example 800. Then the game continues. For 1GHz you should enter 1000 and so on...
The smaller number you enter the faster motion you will see!

I plan the full version and for windows 9x but it will appear on a dialog window. If you cannot run the demo. I may send you a special version for 9x!OK?

Hm I've got two solutions of the problem:

1. Install XP! :D It is not only about my game. Most of the home users use Win XP and it is really comfortable. I remeber when I installed XP it caused a lot of problems. First I should format my HDD because I didn't have any experience with instaling OS. My collections with MK Arts was lost. Some pictures I can never download again. The first two months with XP were alful but now I can't do without the OS. Consider it!

2.Wait for the special edition. I will prepare it today, in the evening. It will work with 9x also with better graphics.

That's it. As I sait I plan version both for XP and 9x with exclusive characters B)

Don't worry veselaki.

1.That was what I maent! It will be stupid to install only XP and delete 98.

2. I am sending MK:DT demo v 1.1(or MK:TDT I think we should accept one of these) to Gambid. I think soon he will upload it. Btw. It is only 11Kb!

I suggest to stop with this numbering. It is too "burocratic" :D . Don't you think so?
