[NCM]MKX DLC Manager + Package Cloner Tool [NEW]

Post by thethiny »

This is the release of my DLC Manager. This file deals with the Non-Vanilla version of the game. Why? Because It decrypts the TOC which is different in the patches version.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE *NEW*
  • Open the .exe (XL logo).
  • Place Required Files in their locations.
  • Follow instructions.
If you are using a non-english COALESCED. file follow these steps:
  • Assuming you're using COALESCED.ESP
  • Copy COALESCED.ESP to Files\
  • Rename it to COALESCED.ENG
  • Run the tool and pick the NonEnglish Mode
  • Type ESP
The tool now operates normally and in the output you'll get an ESP file, not ENG.
Known Issues:
  • Mesh Swaps might not work.
  • Steam users/users with Integrity Check can't use this tool (yet).
4 tutorials are now up, the first video is for Advanced Modders, however the tool has been updated to allow even normal modders to do, so whatever you see in the first tutorial is now done Automatically in the 2nd tutorial, except for the final step, which is the .ini part. The second tutorial might save you time.
Edit: Just use Version 2 :D

VERSION 1

VERSION 1.4

VERSION 2

VERSION 2 QUICK

What does this tool do?
It will add a new costume to your game, useful for downloading a mod and having it as an EXTRA Alternate Costume.

For Steam/Retail users, we're sorry we didn't figure out how to make it work yet.

If the game crashes when loading the mod, then you need to use the ClonePackage tool in update 1.4+.

Special thanks to UncleFestor for testing and helping me find the X64TOC Key.
Special thanks to duc5 for helping me with the /wait operation.
Special thanks to quickbms, unreal decompressor, Injustice_AES, and the creator of the COALSCED toolset.
Special thanks to WinGNU32 tools.

Did you guys just recently started working on this? Because it definitely seems like a big middle finger to WB/NRS for abandoning supporting for the PC version. It's almost perfectly timed! Haha, thanks once again guys. This is some mind-blowing news, and a very huge step forwards!

It can never corrupt your game. What happened?

If I have, like, 25 mods do I have to manually do this 25 times or is there a more efficient option available?

Ahhh, this is something I never thought of.
Well you can use AES_X64 -d X64TOC.txt
and then manually copy and paste 25 times and replace the names.
I totally forgot about the possibility of too many mods.. Hopefully that will be resolved when C++ interpretation is there instead of Batch. Or If I can use for loops in Batch.

Awesome! You rock!!!!

Two quick questions:

(1) Does this work with Goro and the other DLC characters too (since these characters all have just 1 costume)?

(2) Am I supposed to type 0 after entering the npc characters in the multi.bat program? Do I always do that when I add multiple characters/costumes at the same time?

You guys are amazing! Keep up the amazing work!

1)Yes.
2)You type 0 in the multi tool once you are done and wrote all the skin names.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply.

Update: For some strange reason, none of the added costumes appear in-game at the character select screen. I have the Steam version (but with the cracked files) and I don't have to do an integrity check when adding mods, so I'm pretty sure I have the cracked version.

I used the multi.bat file and added quite a lot of costumes and it said it was done successfully. I then copied the files to my Asset folder and put the ini and toc files in the correct spots (from the output folder), but nothing's changed in the game. I made sure to include all the script_asset files in the Files folder too when I used the bat program.

What am I doing wrong? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This is very confusing. So which version of the game do I need? I own the game on Steam.

And after downloading the file, where should it be extracted to? Which folder exactly?

There needs to be a thorough guide for this.

Thanks for your work.
