Hopefully UncleFestor is still reading here, I've tried for 2hrs to get this working. Steam asks me to verify my game cache each time I try one of my own coalesced.ini and overwrites the new file if I do. I'm 92% sure that I'm not being an idiot with this, here's what I did:
- copy the original coalesced.ini from Steam\SteamApps\common\MK10\Config to the "Original" folder - run extract.bat, type "ini" - open Extract\$StartupCacheDir$\Config\X64-MK10Game.ini in Win7's notepad.exe or notepad++ - Ctrl+F "unlocked.c", add the lines "Unlocked=CHAR_Mileena_M" and "Unlocked=CHAR_Kitana_M" at the bottom of the section, save and close the file - run repack.bat, type "ini" - copy and paste output\Coalesced.ini back into the game's config folder - run the game: "BEEEP - please verify the game cache"
Note: - using your Coalesced.ini from the other thread for Patch Update.v20150425 DOES work - modifying the same file by deleting the last few lines in the characters section and repacking does NOT work. - I'm doing all my editing in X64-MK10Game.ini only
Any ideas? I've attached one of my repacks.

That's because the integrity check looks @ File Size, among other things, so Adding or removing anything changes that file size & causes the error.
You can grab the "fix" which only removes the integrity check. I'm sure that other users who are using the fix will send you the link.

Wait what, but why is your file working for me then, there's 16 extra lines in the character section.

Noticed something weird after the latest Ed Baboon patch (enabling Jason; after the initial save-wiping fiasco): After modding the "Coalesced.ini" (that is, the "$StartupCacheDir$\Config\X64-MK10Game.ini" file) in order to lower game speed (to 90% of the game's original speed), if one resets the character positions in training mode (Back button on a 360 controller) or ALT-TABs out and back into the game, the game speed reverts back to the game's default 'Benny Hill Show' gameplay speed! How is this now happening? Does the game change where its gamespeed is dictated from on the fly?! EDIT: The 'speed reversion' seems to happen only (or most reliably) when resetting character positions in training mode -- ALT-TAB-ing seems to do it inconsistently. Also, if the game speed goes back to default, it remains that way until the game is re-launched.

Hopefully this topic is not dead.
After updating my game to the latest update, I am now getting the error "verify the integrity of the mkx game cache" when editing the coalesced. Can anyone here help?
Where I can I find this "fix" that you speak of that removes the integrity check?

Hello. Any way to use this to unlock fatalities / brutalities and faction kills? I want to swap faction pretty often, which makes me loose my unlocked kills. Any way to keep kills even if swapping? Talk to me like you talk to an idiot; I'm new to this (but I did manage to extract the .ini properly) Thanks.

Hello someone can help me? I tried to edit the Coalesced.ini to unlock some skins but when i repack get this error: Code: Error: incomplete input file 0: D:\MKX Coalesced Extract\Extract\Coalesced.ini Can't read 1379981395 bytes from offset 000bf0c6. Anyway don't worry, it's possible that the BMS script has been written to exit in this way if it's reached the end of the archive so check it or contact its author or verify that all the files have been extracted. Please check the following coverage information to know if it's ok.
coverage file 0 3% 28941 782534
Last script line before the error or that produced the error: 10 getdstring name nsize ------------------------------------- Error repacking Extract\Coalesced.ini Press any key to continue. . . I read here something about removing integrety check but, how can I do it?

Just wondering if someone could perhaps mod my Coalesced.ini file to have the scorpion skins unlocked, specifically the ones that are not unlockable and tied to special editions of the game, not anything else as i'd like to try and earn them, Tried to add them in myself but the Repack file wasn't packing it back up properly. I'd appreciate any help!

Will this allow me to use modded costumes that are different size than the originals? It's so annoying getting that verify cache error every time! If anyone has this fix, please pm it. I would greatly appreciate it. BTW, will the fix mess up steam if I use it? I'm not exactly sure what the fix is, does it modify stuff besides MKX? Thanks.
