I know there is possible to edit not only combatant's textures, but also stages' ones.

What if you guys (modmaker geniuses) edit textures of MKX stage "Dead Woods"?
Recolor bark of trees, draw tree faces
, foliage on trees and bushes, icicles hang down off the trees remade to hanging down foliage, grass between trees instead of snow and moss on a lower part of trunks and on stumps, snow on the ground replace with footworn earthy pathway (line where combat happens), maybe even if it possible to change lighting. and snowflakes. snowflakes? i dunno how to remove it, maybe you'll find a way. maybe turn them into insects/mosquittoes? or better to remove them
