 Post subject: Tutorial:How to Swap Models/Meshes

Lets say that I want to clone Scorpion_N to Reptile_N.

0.Make Backups!

1.You need to have the CHAR_Scorpion_N,CHAR_Reptile_N and MKKEGenericRenamer files.

2.Open MKKEGenericRenamer and you will see that you have 3 cases.

3.In the first case named Archive to Search for Strings,type the name of the file in which is the model you wanna swap.In the second case which is named Original String write CHAR_Scorpion_N(in my situation),and in the third case named New String write CHAR_Reptile_N,and press Replace Strings!

4.Now in the second case write Scorpion_N and in the third Reptile_N and press again Replace Strings.

5.Now in the second case write Scorpion and in the third Reptile.Press again Replace Strings!

6.Now,some characters have objects in some variations,like Reptile`s Snake Belt,or Scorpion`s Swords.If you wanna put the Snake Belt where Swords are,search attach until you find SnakeBeltAttach and LeftSwordAttach.

7.Open MKKEGenericRenamer again and write in the second case the original object,in this case LeftSwordAttach,and in the third SnakeBeltAttach,and press Replace Strings! for the final time.

8.Now rename CHAR_Scorpion_N to CHAR_Reptile_N and place it in the Asset folder from the MKX folder.

9.Enjoy.

If you receive any error at the MKKEGenericRenamer,don`t worry,open it and try again.

P.S.:The steps 6 and 7 are completely optional.
P.S. 2:You can mesh swap only modded skins for some reason.

You can mesh swap any skin, they just have to be decompressed.

I did this but when I go in game the character will be invisible and when we go into the match it crashes immediately. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Hey guys ,sorry but if I may ask .I tried meshing Reptile ,Kano ,Tremor ,or anyone to Torr but the problem when I'm using MKKEGenericRenamer ,torr file name is Char_Mastermale_A ,which is a lot bigger than the other so it always said "Your new string is too big" .Is there a way to rename the file to work with the mesh swap method ?I tried changing the file name to just Char_Master_A ,but will crash when the character load .If anyone could help me ^^
