Thx and very nice idea! You should do it (if you have the time of course), this skin would be cool! The more skins the better ;)

The problem is, my costume slots for Superman are full (1 main costume + 10 alt costumes). Everything below isn't shown, you can select but it's not visible anymore. Seems they saved the area to be able to extend a lot more DLC char slots if they want.

Hi rizzn,
that's a great mod (Deadpool). I put your Deadpool in another forum with your name as its modder.
----------------
can I ask you to tell me how you created those normhqa , spec and pmsk files like diff file ?
in other words: how can I make a normhqa (or other) file/s from my diff file ?
I checked your Deadpool's normhqa and also checked default deathstroke's normhqa and saw their different.
sorry if this question is weird but i need to know how change normhqa file however i want.
----------------
my second question: can we edit texture/dds files in Autodesk 3ds Max ?
thank you.
Sorry for My English :(

Hey!

Thank you really appreciate it and thanks for posting it on other sites! :)

I always start with finishing my Diff file (most) completely. Because always I change something I have to remake the NormHQA and Spec files. So we have these layers to make:

- Diff
- Diff (Alpha channel)
- NormHQA
- Spec

When my Diff is finished (without a black/dark background, so transparent, you need just the elements to work with) I start on creating all other files.

//EDIT:
Created an own topic for the settings: http://www.mksecrets.net/forums/eng/vie ... =85&t=6869

(Sorry, I don't know if you can edit something in 3ds Max for the textures. I'm not really into creating 3D objects from scratch and not that experienced in that software.)

Very nice method you have there dude. You might also want to point out that normhqa/norm have different image sizes compared to diff and spec files. Norm files are 1024x2048 in size while diff and spec files are 1024x1024 in size. I'm just talking about the charname_letter_diff/spec/norm files btw lol.

Also what are your respective alpha field settings in the normalmapfilter in photoshop? unchanged? height? Thanks.

Oh forgot about the size change on the normal map. Thanks I will update this soon or create a new topic.

I think it's all unchanged, but can only clearly tell you tomorrow when I'm back home. :) Will edit this post then!

Thanks! Need to add more details to the head or I will mask him, don't know. :)

I created an own thread for the settings here, that's what I used to create the textures for Deadpool. Only thing is, you probably have to adjust a few setting values for other characters. They are always a little bit different (colors, textures, brightness, etc.).

I noticed in the video that for actual combat, deadpool still uses Slades voice. Will this change in the final version?

I already changed the sound files on intro and victory to Deadpool's voice. Already the dialogue sounds are done (for wager etc.). The only part which is missing, are the sounds if the character get's hit, for now I leave the old Deathstroke sounds.

Here are two videos with some SFX mods:

I will upload this as soon as I'm finished with my second Deadpool skin.
