I cant find a way to convert them and there seems to be no one on the internet with a solution? If you open the Texture2D folder it should contain .dds files.Code: Select all
umodel.exe -noanim -dds -export -all CHAR_Character_A.xxx
Thank You!!
I used umodel to extract the XXX file and it worked great

Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods
Update: Didn't work with Photoshop CC 2015.5 version, does anyone know how to get the dds plugin to work with that version of Photoshop? Or how to get Gimps 2.0 to work with DDS files?
I tried putting the dds plugin file in File Formats sub-folder and I tried installing the plugin via an exe file, but it doesn't install. The exe setup file crashes almost immediately after double-clicking it. When I put the plugin file from this topic into the File Formats folder and launch Photoshop, it says that the plugin doesn't work for this version of Photoshop.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I have the 64 bit version of Photoshop CC 2015.5, I don't have Photoshop listed in Program Files (x86), just in the 64 bit Program Files folder. In the plugins folder I just had Generators sub-folder, I made a new folder there called File Formats and put the plugin file there.

Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods
Hi! I have question concerning extracting "Full body renders" from PC source for collection and for learning new things with files. I mean this kind of renders:
I found only one file which include all necessary pictures, ui_ps_Ladder.xxx, but the problem is that during umodel preview and after extracting - the pictures are quite a mess.
Here examples:
And I'd like to add, that after extractions all pictures are differs from preview, they are cut or alternate: Lex Luthor's leg is completely missing for example, only arm remains.
I'm wodering, is there any way to extract these pictures in "complete way", not puzzle style, and normal lighting, like character select screen?
Sorry for dumb question and thanks in advance for Your reply!!!
