Have you updated to the latest version of java se? The minimum requirement for that to work is 1.7 I think.
I have 1.7.0_45-b18. Version 7 update 45.

Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods

Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods
When editing a skin, specifically the damage masks, is there an easier way to select all the skin and cuts showing through the armor besides using the Quick Selection tool and highlighting each area of damage by hand?
Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods
Daishoto: For selecting only damaged parts (parts with cuts) open damage_Spec and in alpha channel its white part for cuts... so highlight it and copy that highlight to damage_Diff.. and undo this part in damage_Diff before finishing damage texture.. it is fastest way to make proper damaged parts... or atleast i do this way.. (sorry for my english.. i never learned this language )

Great! Thank you so much! That should make it way easier. (And no worries, your English is great! )

Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods
Hi,
I can't get the photoshop .dds plugin link to install on my pc. It just crashes when I try to install it. I tried both the 32 bit & 64 bit versions (I have 64 bit Windows 7 OS), but they both always crash. I am using Photoshop CC program BTW. Is there any way to just download the actual plugin instead of the setup .exe file? I think that would work.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes i think you can just download dds.8bi plugin without installation and just copy to example >> d:\Programy\Adobe Photoshop\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins\File Formats\dds.8bi.

Re: TUTORIAL: How to make your own skin mods
I don't know where to download just the dds.8bi plugin (as opposed to the .exe installation file). Could you please post a link to where I can get just the plugin file? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
