DLC Char to Costume Conversions etc

There are many awesome skins and the problem I am having as that many of them are either DLC characters (even though they are the same character, like the one here http://www.mksecrets.net/forums/eng/vie ... =81&t=6676 awesome work) or are overwriting some of the default costumes like banshee sindel here http://misucra.deviantart.com/art/MK9-S ... -394614199

I am using the DLC manager 2.1 so I tried creating .ini for sindel banshee based on a template but I ended up crashing the game (since I wanted that skin to occupy Costume 3 or 4 slot etc), simple renaming of the file from CHAR_Sindel.xxx to CHAR_Sidnel_W.xxx and then using that for .ini didn't work. Do I need to somehow edit the xxx files?

Can someone post here a guide or tutorial on how to convert dlc characters to costumes and how to convert the overwriting costumes to other costume slot.

The other reason is that it is simply faster to select a character and then a costume than going trough the dlc characters slot.
