Hello everyone, quick tutorial here, I know a lot of people prefer the Alternate costume of some characters over the main ones, one of those for me personally is Raiden's Alt, I prefer it more and now I found a quick way to swap an Alt costume to main, technically it isn't swapping it's more of replacing the main with Alt but the Alt isn't changed, sadly this didn't work with Retro costumes but should work with others, lets get to it,
1.
First and foremost Backup ur file, main costume in this case because we will replace it
2.Tools used will be in the rar file below, it's just decompress.exe and the MKKE Generic renamer 3.2 by HowardC, unzip it and this should be the contents in it
3.Now copy the Alt costume you want to use in this directory and drag it on the decompress.exe which should create a new "unpacked" folder and in it you should find the CHAR file but with an increased size, move it back to the Alt to Main folder.(Will be using CHAR_Raiden_B.xxx for demonstration).
Replace when moving the decompressed CHAR file back to the Alt to Main folder

4.Now open the MKKE Generic injector 3.2.exe, and in the "Archive to search for string" tab, type in the name of the decompressed CHAR file(CHAR_Raiden_B.xxx in my case), in the "Original string" tab type in CHAR_filename_letter(CHAR_Raiden_B in my case) with out the .xxx extension, and in "New String" tab type in CHAR_filename(CHAR_Raiden in my case) without the .xxx extension and check only "Fix Hashes" from the check boxes(but for CHAR_SubZero_B and CHAR_ShangTsung_B check the third box too) and press Replace Strings!.

Wait and you should get such a pop up, click ok.

5.Leave "Archive to search for string" tab the same and just remove CHAR_ from the "Original string" tab and the "New String" tab and uncheck all checks and press Replace Strings!.

Wait and you should get such a pop up, click ok.

6.You can now close the Generic renamer and rename the CHAR file by removing the _letter from it just like any main file(CHAR_Raiden_B.xxx to CHAR_Raiden.xxx in my case), and move it back to the Asset folder and replace when prompted to, that's it should work.
P.S to all this modders out there this can be used as a workaround to clone Alternate costumes and create DLCs from them, just when creating diff files you have to type the CHAR_file_letter in the Patch section of ini not the CHAR_file(CHAR_Raiden_B instead of CHAR_Raiden forexample)
, which version do you use, I have v1.05 you maybe be using 1.06 or 1.07(steam)
