Editing mk3 and mk2 costumes,

I've seen it before, that you can edit these costumes, and I don't know how. I've been trying to create a skarlet version out of the mk2 and mk3 costumes of kitana or jade. Any help would be appreciated. Changing the sounds of the model would be nice too. Maybe a Tanya or Sindel model would also be neat. But let's start with Skarlet.

Anyone more qualified up to the challenge, or anyone willing to point me in the right direction?
