REQ: 2-on-2 boss battles in tag ladder mode

Is it possible to rewrite the script to fight Shang Tsung / Quan Chi, Goro / Kintaro, and then Shao Kahn / Sindel in the tag ladder? Those fights as they currently stand are 2-on-1, making them handicap matches and quite easy.
