REQ: Toggle super meters and X-rays on/off?

Is there a way to turn off super meters and x-ray moves for a more retro-style gameplay?

Is this a mod request or are you just asking if you can do it with some setting in the game.

Thanks. Works, but I am afraid that leaving the cheat engine running while launching a VAC-enabled game will result in a Steam account ban. Is there an alternate solution in the form of a mod or change in the config files?

I just saw that there is a way to reassign an X-ray of a character to nothing in a script string and the tutorial is listed in http://w11.zetaboards.com/SFxT_Mods/topic/9060074/1/, but I don't know the tool needed to go into a character's script file.
