REQ: Adding skins instead of replacing them

Hiya,
Tis me again.
I have been wondering - is it possible to add retextures/skins to MK9 PC as separate costumes, instead of replacing the existing ones?
There is so many awesome retextures for characters I can hardly settle for one.

Unfortunately no, not at this time. The technology behind the character outfits and references is not 100% clear and reverse engineering it isn't really a piece of cake. I have an idea, that might make skin management a bit easier, but I don't know when and if I will have the time to implement it.

hm... I suppose that it has something to do with the ui_ps_vs.xxx from what i see in the assets folder i assume that you have to make specific Files for extra skins... for example
Subzero_CharIntro is different than Subzero_F_CharIntro
Subzero_Fatality1 is different than Subzero_F_Fatality1

If i'm not mistaken Subzero_F is the mk3 unmasked.
but what happened to Subzero_D,E? hm...

It is the structure of the models that is not entirely understood yet. Basically what and how they should reference.
The game successfully finds the file if you change its suffix but ultimately fails to load it.
