My mom is white (German/Polish) and my dad is Mexican. But I was raised by my mom, so I never learned Spanish. which sucks because wherever I go everyone speaks Spanish. I'm not sure about the rest of the country, but in Chicago the Mexican population seems to have doubled. I'll learn Spanish someday, I swear!
