Star Wars Books By Timothy Zahn

This is my first topic in this part of the forums from a very long time.

I want to discuss the Star Wars books by Timothy Zahn.
I am currently reading the third one from The Thrawn Trilogy: The Last Command

The books tell the story after the sixth movie. Basically all the things Leia, Han, Luck and the others have to go through to preserve the peace in the New Republic.

These are all the books that Timothy Zahn currently wrote:

The Thrawn Trilogy:

• Heir to the Empire (1991)</li>
• Dark Force Rising (1992)</li>
• The Last Command (1993)</li>

The Hand of Thrawn Duology:

• Specter of the Past (1997)</li>
• Vision of the Future (1998)</li>

After The Hand of Thrawn Duology:

• Survivor's Quest (2004)</li>
• Outbound Flight (2006)</li>
• Allegiance (2007)</li>

Most of the books are a real best sellers.
There were even rumors that if more movies are made, these will be the stories they will tell.

In my opinion the books are really good and hopefully there are people here who are reading or who have already read them.

Please note, this topic is just about the books of Timothy Zahn.

So, you read them all except the last one Allegiance?

OK, let discuss the books and not the fact that Gambid made a topic.

Let start with the trilogy, since that's the ones I read. Took me quite a while, I am not the reading type of guy.

I think it will be quite a challenge if someone decides to film this trilogy, especially the last book.

The one think I don't like that much is the fact that there are no Jedi VS Jedi battles in the trilogy.

And also that Leia is so much away from her jedi training. I actually don't see her becoming a jedi in the future either, but who knows.

Are there things that you do not like in the trilogy?

<span style='color:orange'>I didn't read 'em all yet, i rented the last trilogy but didn't get to complete reading them, and i didn't get Allegiance yet.

And i am intrigued by your information above, and yes, i don't like the fact that were no JvJ fights either.

I doubt they'd film it though, seens as they might require totally different actors, as the original actors might look totally different now, and no way would anyone be able to beat them (especially Harrison ford who played Han solo,he's a classic for the part).</span>
