K, lemme break it down.

3-D: MK or DOA. DOA, it's smoother, better graphics, fighiting engine is better, characters are more balanced. MK's story was once better, but they had to trash it.

2-D: MK or Street Fighter. MK, more blood, original fighting system and graphics, finishing moves, an dmore gore, plus a great storyline.

It depends on who you match it up with.

Graphics- Sucky 3-D
