Resident Evil 3 Problems

I can't play RES3, not even The Mercenaries. When I open RES3 I choose to play the game, and when the animation is over, I only get everything black on my screen, except the sentences: Farewell to my home, Farewell to my life.

When I open The Mercenaries, I choose new game, choose a character, and after that everything gets black on my screen.

Can anyone help me?

P.S. When I save in RES2, I can't load the save, I only get a save that doesn't exist(as file) with the player Leon in Waiting Room, lol .

You definately need either a new copy of the game, a new system and a new memory card. It shouldn't be doing that.

I have RES3 for PC...

I have:

1GB Ram
1,81 GHz
128 MB RAM ATI RADEON 9600 Video Card
I dunno for Sound Card, but it's good
2 Speakers
Windows XP

The game was downloaded from the internet, and it works for other people.

It's not beacuse of the game, every file is there, everything is ok with the game. Now it could only be something connected to my system, maybe some unsupported stuff and that's why I can't play RES3.

Buy the game for something other than your PC.


PC games tend to be idiots sometimes. I have heard of PC RE games having problems before. Some computers just can't handle the game. You need to get it for GC.

Sweet, that's the only one I own for the ps1 but the next one coming out around late 2008 looks good.
