Release Mortal Kombat Armageddon Enhanced Mod
This is tested on USA Premium edition not sure for the regular one!
You need codebreaker for this...
Here:
Free Mode
Free Mode let's player 1 to choose enemy and stage just like in Practice Mode of the game. Once a battle is finished you will go back to the character select screen. If player's profile is loaded player can earn coins from performing combos. It's the perfect mode for battling CPU on arenas which are not included in Arcade Mode and lets players practice. You can not fight Blaze in this mode.
How to activate?
While in the main highlight KOMBAT Hold R1 (P1 Joystick) and press X then
select Arcade/Practice or Versus Mode.
If done correctly you can select stage by pressing R2 at the
character select screen before you choose Player 1 character.

yes you can get a free codebreaker if you have MCBoot Installed on your ps2 from here.

Obviously in order to use this you must have a way of booting homebrew programs on your PS2 such as the softmod Free MC BOOT (FMCB)
Launching!
Place this file on usb device and connect it to your ps2..
Open CD/DVD Tray
Launch "ULauncher"
Go to USB and find the elf file
Launch it
Close CD/DVD tray
After disk starts rotating wait 10-15 seconds (don't worry for the black screen)
and remove usb device. Codebreaker will launch. Follow instructions to add new game in the supporting list if not included and a mastercode followed by the mod.
DaTeHaCKs now stands against sites like GameFaqs where their staff doesn't respect their members opinion, delete threads without a warning, delete posts without a warning, doesn't respect people's opinions and directly infract user accounts just making a complain or trying to contact Administrators. The Moderator Staff of GameFaqs/GameSpot is a bunch of ass losers who deserve no such status. Playing with a moderator/admin status like a gun is a way to show how big cowards they are.

WOW looks great! Sadly I don't own the Premium Edition or a Codebreaker

There will be a new Battleplans in Arcade Mode supporting all Arenas not included in Arcade Mode.
