No problem dude after all this is a mk fan website and this is a forum of other mk project made by fans :P besides i know that there is an mk project 4.5 released and an mk project 4.7 released :P and ofcourse mk project 4.4 this is all that i have heard

Hi guys. I'm new to this forums but very known to MK MUGEN. Anyways, be on the lookout for Palette Swapped Chars in MK Mugen. They're just chars with different palettes but with same moves; Total Trash Fighters

You can make those by yourself.

You just need the original fighter and a Mugen fighter editing program that supports palette swapping.

Sorry. I meant I'm anti-trash fighter. There's a game with full trash fighters as chars. Like Hornbuckle (the holy warrior in the MK2 Pit)

I have a game here on my PC that was made by my friend. Of course It's mugen. Do you want me guys to put up a DL link so that you can try?

for mk sprites go to http://mkw.mortalkombatonline.com

it has full motion sprites and the frames for each movement. make sure you switch the theme of the page to zaterra or wikihouse or itll be hell clearing the backgrounds from the sprites

While I may not have played the MKP thing nor have I contributed to it, I feel like that most of the roster is a bit...half-assed, or lazy.

I've watched various videos of the original characters and what bugs me is that 90% of the original characters I have encountered were nothin' but ninja palette swaps (primarily from UMK3) or ninja palette swaps with different heads. Extending from characters like Nightmare (a blood-stained Scorpion wielding a scythe) to the more somewhat crude Dark (a black-clad Scorpion with a skull in place of a head).

While some interpretations of canon characters are awesome, like Ermac (an edited Scoprion with a well done, realistic head edit) or the Grandmaster (a somewhat clever, and original edit of Shinnok from Mythologies Sub-Zero), some just end up....not even making half sense, such as the Lin Kuei (a red clad MKII ninja base with green skin), who cannot even decide what his real face should look like and shrinks for a split second. And there's the two Quan Chi characters, one based on his MK4 appearance and another based on his original Deadly Alliance concept art. While the latter was a rather nice choice, the spritework was kinda...iffy. The former was an unneccessary edit as there was already official fulltime sprites for that appearance greenlighted in Mythologies as well.

I don't mean to insult anyone or toot my own horn. I'm just sayin': would it kill ya to put some creativity and effort?
