Ed Boon Menu Codes Have Been Discovered For The Old MK's!

A few days ago, it was discovered that new so called Ed Boon menus (EJB menus) not only exist in Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 but are also accessible in a pretty easy (even though a bit tricky) way.

These menus allows you to see a lot of the hidden stuff in the games, as well as unused tracks, sprites and graphical parts, unlocking characters (in Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3) and see the endings for the characters.

The way you need to access the menus is to hit the Block Button for both players in the arcade in a specific pattern and order.

Ed Boon also tweeted that there are some secrets in the old MK games that haven't been discovered yet. It is not known if those codes are what he was referring to!

In any case, it is still amazing how after 20+ years, the old MK games still have something new to offer.
