Some of you might have wondered why there were so very little (news) updates in the past few months. With several personal things shifting perspective really quickly in the past, consuming even more time than ever before, the time I could invest in our beloved network was significantly reduced. I felt that I needed to take a break from some of my duties here and with the lack of important news the past few months, timing seemed perfect for me. Don't get me wrong, the Mortal Kombat Secrets network grew massively during that time and I was part of each and every aspect of it, whether you felt my presence or not :)
The History of Mortal Kombat
During that time we were able to finish the longest and so far the most ambitious episode of The History of Mortal Kombat, which I am happy to announce was very well received by all of you and once again drew the attention of the entire community and even NetherRealm Studios itself:
As of yesterday, the latest episode includes the much requested English subtitles and translation has begun for several other languages.
Modding and Skinning
I helped as much as I could on the forums, which are now home of an amazing modding community that has made some incredible mods and skins not only for Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) PC and Injustice: Gods Among Us PC, but also for all other Mortal Kombat games. I was really blown away by the creativity and the dedication of the fans when it comes to modding and can only advise you to go and see their work for yourself.

In the past few months our YouTube channel grew as well and we are currently approaching 1150 videos and have more than 16 thousand subscribers and nearly 18,5 million views. For this, I would like to once again say thanks to you, our dedicated visitors.
As you all know, something big is quickly approaching. Whether it is a new Mortal Kombat game, a new Injustice game, a new Movie or a new Season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy, the Mortal Kombat universe is once again waking up and timing seems perfect for a recap of everything that has happened in the past few months.
