Tremor Returns in the PSVita Version of Mortal Kombat (2011)

Post by Gambid »

Quickly after the release of Mortal Kombat 9 for PSVita fans discovered that Tremor is not only present but also playable in several missions of the exclusive challenge tower:
Tremor first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces as a member of the Black Dragon but was also supposed to be included in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. His bio was falsly published in one of the manuals for the game.

Thanks to MKIceVsFire, fellow Mortal Kombat fan site Test Your Might and tconley205 for the videos.

Why? Why they are not thinking about Xbox 360 owners? I'm decisively disappointed in Netherrealm Studios.

It is simple: If they release the exact same game with no additional content, a lot less people are going to buy it.

We will most probably not see Tremor in the console version, but I am still optimistic about the classic costumes :) Time will tell.

This is cool! However, I could tell he has a mixture of Jax's moves and some others thrown in there, including his fireball projectile. Overall, this was a good idea.

As I know, NRS are going to support console versions no more.

They said no such thing. They said, they will not release more DLC characters. Nothing about skins and patches.

BTW Tremor also has Noob Saibot's icon.

So out of curiosity, what's the big fascination with Tremor? He's simply a brown coloured male ninja who appeared in the least popular Mortal Kombat game to date, as I understand it.

It's since 1997, as I know. Btw, I'm, too, don't know, why fans so love him.

It's simple. People want what they can't get. it has been this way since ever. A few examples: skerlet, blaze, tremor, rain, reptile.

All of the above I get, I just didn't think that Mortal Kombat: Special Forces was that popular. So if Tremor's just a character from a non-core game that didn't do well, I'm just surprised there's such a cult following around him.

yes Tremor has returned! I love his move set in the game. My only upset was that i thought Tremor could be unlocked on the 150th challenge in the bounus tower

There have been weirder cult followings: Invader Zim, Yakkity Yak, Napoleon Dynamite, some old videogames like Adventure on Atari and Earthworm Jim.

Unfortunately he can't be unlocked. But who knows they may release a new DLC character.
