EVO 2011 - Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) Tournament Results

MOOOOOORTAAAAAAAAAAL KOOOOOOMBAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!! This is what the people in the audience were screaming as the Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) finals at EVO 2011 started. All the excitement proved one more time, why Mortal Kombat will always be at least one step ahead of the competition.

Perfect Legend won the tournament with a dramatic and intense battle against REO and walked away with the Grand Prize and a special Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) Champion Belt from Netherrealm Studios given him by Hector Sanchez, who was also present at the tournament. What was really great is that there wasn't a character that everyone played with, like Bob in the Tekken 6 Tournament.

This only proves how much more balanced the game is.

I was rooting for REO's Mileena. I think he could have won if he didn't switch to Cyrax but i think he did that cause he thought that Perfect Legend was starting to read his moves more easily.

i really didn't like the idea that Perfect Legend won... i was hoping that REO would win, i thought he deserved it more. Maybe that's just because i hate Kung Lao lol

Don't mix the character with the player, it's not fair.

They both showed great skills, but this is a tournament and only one can be a champion. But yes, I too believe that Cyrax was a mistake at this place.
