Mortal Kombat 2011 Sells More than Million Copies in the USA

GiantBomb reported today that Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) with its Aptil 19th release has sold over 900 000 copies and currently dominates the April chart:

- Mortal Kombat
- Portal 2
- Lego Star Wars III: Clone Wars
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters
- Crysis 2
- Just Dance 2
- Michael Jackson: The Experience
- Pokemon White
- NBA 2K11

After the article was posted, Ed Boon added that the number is only for the US and the Kollector's and the Tournament Editions are not included and Mortal Kombat 9 has in fact sold more than a million copies.

i am not suprised by those figures. i knew Mortal Kombat sell plenty, but considering the other games released that month, it was more than expected.
