The 2020 Game Awards show has been concluded, all of the categories got their winners, including the best fighting game of the year award, which was given, and rightfully so, to
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. Ed Boon came to Twitter to show his excitement from the award winning, and top of having being presented by actors Ralph Macchio and Yuji Okumoto who both of starred in the Karate Kid movies, of which Boon and all of
NetherRealm Studios are big fans of.
And other members of
NRS came to show their excitement as well, such as Derek Kirtzic and Dominic Cianciolo.
This is the 3rd time that a game from
NetherRealm Studios and
Warner Bros. Games have won the award, as they did it back in 2015 with
Mortal Kombat XL and in 2017 with
Injustice 2, both of which were well deserved the award just like
MK11U.
