The 2020 Game Awards show has listed it's nominees for all of the categories in the world of gaming.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate has been nominated for the best fighting game category, alongside Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, Granblue Fantasy Versus, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r].
This marks the 2nd year in a row in which
Mortal Kombat 11 is nominated for any category in the Game Awards show, as it was nominated for the award last year. And this also marks the first time ever in which any
NetherRealm Studios fighting game has been nominated on any category in the event for 2 years in a row.
Both
Mortal Kombat XL and
Injustice 2 already took the best fighting game awards for both 2015 and 2017 respectively, and now it's time that
MK11U will win the award as well.
